I can't connect to web using Mozilla, Chrome, or IE.?

One user on my four user computer had a virus. I ran avast and put the virus in the chest. Now that user can't connect to the internet. He gets "Proxy Server Refuses Connection" Check setting to make sure correct. Other users on same computer have no problem connecting. Thanks
