I can't configure my DI 524 wireless router without turning on bluetooth in my laptop?

I connect a cable from router to laptop,but laptop doesn't recognize the router
It recognizes router when bluetooth is ON and cable is not connected

Why is it so?
Myu old desktop pc used to recognize the router
