I can't add business news to my home page?

I have a portfolio on my yahoo. When I click on a symbol, I go to the page of that company. At that bottom, there's an option to add news about this company to my home page. When I click on it, the news comes up (the rest of the page is "blued out". I'm asked if I want to keep the news content I just selected. when I click on "Keep it". nothing happens and the page freezes, and I can't get back to the home page. I have tried to close the program and then re-open it but then the new content I just clicked on to "keep it" is not there. My default browser is Firefox, but I also have IE8. The same thing happens on both browsers
