I cannot open tire valve caps (these little black ones) on cars. They are just...

...so hard and tiny. Any tips?
It is below freezing point where I live, and I do not have a garage. I wonder it has something to do with it too. Should I warm them up with warm towel or something? They are just killing my fingers off!!!
 
Grab it lightly with a pair of pliers and see if you can get them off that way. Also if they are that tight you should probably invest in a new set. They are cheap and obviously overtightened.

pour hot water over them first then grab them with a pair of pliers and turn to the left (counter clockwise).

if they are REALLY seized on there, go to a tire shop and have them install new valve stems, its cheap and probably a good idea anyways since they can go bad sometimes, especially if they see a lot of curbs.
