Just the thought of eating any kind of meat (chicken, turkey, beef, whatever....) makes me sick. I'll force myself to eat it sometimes so that I'll get some protein but it just makes me gag. I'm worried that I'm not getting the protein I need, but it's like anything else with protein makes me want to barf too (nuts, peanut butter, protein shakes, eggs....).
Will I be okay without it? I'm not a vegetarian or anything, just 17 weeks pregnant and hating meats. Any vegetarian mom's out there...was your baby okay if you stayed on your meat-free diet during pregnancy?
I'm hoping this aversion will wear off, I thought it would once I got into the second trimester....
