I can print every document except for a picture/photo with my HP 4300?

Hello,

I purchased a printer HP OfficeJet J4540 All-in-one. I can print any document with it, except for a picture/photo that I open with any picture/photo program.
Does any of you have any idea about why I can't print pictures, but I can print everything else?
I would really appreciate it if you could please help me.
