I agree with your second question. In my opinion, I can't deny Evolution cause it's everywhere. Animals have and are constantly evolving into other species and creatures. I don't know if we came from Apes or not but our DNA is 99% alike and its been proven over 10,000 years that our skull size has increased, we have gotten taller and our skin color has evolved over a long period of time depending on where people lived. Some of the most beautiful landscapes and national parks evolved from some of the worst natural disasters. With that being said, why can't God help guide evolution. Genesis was still written by man before they knew the world was round and had an idea about science. The more complex things Science finds about life, the planet and the universe and how everything works together makes me believe something higher had to be responsible for it.
For the Christian converting people, the bible teaches them to spread the word and teach others. So people will use their talent to do so, wether that's speaking, music, ect.
