i can has allergy cure?

i wish there were a cure for allergies :(

we now have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 birds and i love them, they are awesome.

problem?
i am in allergy hell. my eyes are swollen and gooey from my eyes reacting to all of the allergens, my nose is stuffed, and my asthma is going ape shit, so i sound like have an upper respiratory infection.

next problem?
the doctor didn't give me a refill on my fast acting inhaler, so i am basically FUCKED if i have a bad reaction. i'm pretty much walking on thin fucking ice with my asthma.

next problem?
i don't have an insurance card because my dad STILL hasn't ordered them. even if he did order them now, it is too late because by the time i would get it i would be back at school. back at school is great because i can freely go to the doctor there because i have school insurance too. however, i can't go to the doctor here and get new inhalers because of the card!

so i am going to go insane rubbing my eyes, blowing my nose, and coughing up a lung. ...and what can i do about it? pretty much nothing. i just have to get used to the animals again. i used to be fine but i have been away for so long that i'm not used to them again.

so GAH! that is all.
 
Have you considered the advantages of a personal bubble?


I had pretty bad allergies as a kid so I feel your pain. I hope you acclimate to your pets soon, Jane.

and blowing your nose only makes it more stuffed(the allergies get deeper inside), I have a friend who's allergic to almost everything. :happysad:

thanks for your advice guys! i'll try to get my hands on some honey soon. i don't know how much longer i can take of this. my nose is chapped. =/
 
thats what i use but lately it seems to do nothing.

because of this whole allergy fiasco, i am now back on steroid meds (prednisone), i have my steroid inhaler and my albuterol inhalor, but now i have to hook up to a machine every for hours or as needed for an albuterol breathing treatment with \my roommates nebulizer, and i am also on anit biotics for the sinus infection. yay.

i'm looking into getting a nebulizer for myself so that i can take it home and hopefully avoid a terrible asthma attack like this again. =/

other than that, i'm doing okay lol
