I've asked a similar question but forgot about a couple of important details. When I was 16 I lived In Germany on a military base. I worked at the bx and was fired for stealing. I smoked weed once and the CID came to my house saying I was recorded smoking weed and asked me to go down and talk with him the following day. Also one day my friend was caught with weed on him(not me) but I was taken done to the mp station because I was with him. I don't know if i was ever charged with anything but I did have to go to the guy who determines who stays and goes in Germany and had to do community service. When I was 19 I moved back to the states and worked for 3 months and quit because I wasn't getting enough hours. I got another job working at staples. I worked there for a yr before I overheard my boss talking about me behind my back to another associate. I asked him if I could talk to him in his office and we began arguing about it. He told to take the day off and come back when my attire(belt and pants) was correct. I talked to hr about this an they said I should apologize and try to get on his good side again. I did and the following day I was terminated by hr. Since then I have not worked but focused mainly on school. I am 22 now and I'm on my soph. Yr of college. I've always wanted to be an officer and is my
main reason for going to school. I plan on enrolling in the ROTC program. I looked at the sf-86 to see what information will be required. Basically my question is will my lack of employment(plus being fired twice) and very very minor drug use dq me from being accepted into the ROTC program and contracting for comission? I know I've made mistakes but since have changed my life around. What is my beat course of action?
