I called a Honda dealer and talked to a tech there about the idling problem I'm

having with my 2000 Accord.? He said it sounded like the fuel pump was going out. I think I'll start off with the suggestions all of you guys gave me first.........they're alot less expensive! Thanks for all of your advice, guys!
 
If you really did talk to a technician (when they generally DO NOT come to the telephone for customer questions) and it wasn't a service writer out in the service department...I would take their advice - your question leans towards ignorance - sorry but true...If you truly described your problems with your car to a tech and he gave you advice as to what he thinks is wrong with your car... why on earth would you decide to ignore the diagnosis he gave you? You would rather WASTE money and time replacing other parts because Yahoo answers community suggested it??? When you know nothing about our backgrounds and our knowledge of cars to begin with??? But you know that the Tech at Honda has training in his line of cars - and works on them everyday... RIDICULOUS~ Sorry~
 
I'm would like to help you spell first. A lot is two words, not one word. There is no such word as, alot. As for your mechanical problem, I would force your dealer to prove the fuel pressure is not within specification to warrant a fuel pump replacement.
