i bought water andi found out the plastic had melted!?

i bought a 24 pack of water.
I realized it tasted funny but didn't think anything of it
After drinking the entire pack, on my last bottle i realized the plastic was melted!
i think the store left it ouside

will i be ok
what can i do
also..
HOW DID I GET HERE??
this is yahoo Canada. i live in US
