I bought some cheap T5 software

I recently purchased Super Game Pack with games like mah-jong and checkers.

After playing one of the games once and leaving the game, I will try to play the game again and I get...

Error: Invalid Configuration
This app needs to be reinstalled from the CD

I hot-sync and the game will work one more time. SOOO nice to have a portable game that I can use right next to my computer.

Is this the software company being stupid or could the T5 have something wrong internally?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Have you checked your help file/readme file to see if the software is compatible with Palm OS 5.4? That is what the T5 is running. You can also check the web site of the developer of the software, there may be an upgrade for the T5. Because the T5 is using Palm OS 5.4 this is a little different from the other palms OS, thus there are little glitches that you have work through.

As quick and intelligent as ever.

Unfortunately, the company is small and has almost no info on their site. I e-mailed their tech support, but I'm sure I'll get the "it's a problem on your side" answer.

I've been thinking about the error message. It says to reinstall from the CD. I've just been deleting the apps from the T5 and syncing to reload. I can imagine it making a difference. Anyone think it's worth it? I first installed the program a month ago and gave up on it. I'm going on a trip and I'd like to play with them on the way. That's the long way around to saying I have no idea where the CD is. But if anyone thinks it will make a difference I can go on a scavenger hunt.

Thanks again.

I can relate on losing those necessary but often misplaced CD's. I am the Queen at this little trick. Once I find the CD, do what I am being prompted, all is well once I have completed the tasks at hand.
It looks like your best option is to go on that scavenger hunt, find the CD and reinstall as prompted. This just might be the resolution to your problems.
