I bought a widescreen monitor/tvzdsfs at a junk sale that doesn't come on for nothing?

Took a chance and plunked down ten bucks for it.
I think it's just the power switch maybe because the buttons feel a little smooshy there like that area took a hard shock but theres no real damage to the cabinet.

How do I go about seeing if I can get it to work?
monitor/tv sorry didn't see the "zdsfs"...total typo
