The extended warranty you purchased was through the Ford dealer, not through Chevrolet. They likely sold you a policy through GE, Zurich, or another auto warranty company. Generally they require that you bring the vehicle to the dealership you purchased it from unless you live more than a certain number of miles away (usually 40-50). The warranty you bought has absolutely no connection to Chevrolet, although the Ford dealer has the option of sending your truck down to a Chevrolet dealership if there's work to be done that they can't handle, or if you live far enough away you can choose to bring it to a Chevrolet dealership, which will likely honor the warranty but is not required to.
