I Bought a Mazda 3 Maxx and found out that there was no 6 stack cd player in the dash...

mazda 3 Maxx's are meant to come with a 6 stacker standard and i cant seem to find mine can anyone help me?
 
This article says it has wheel mounted controls, which makes me wonder if the controls are on the steering wheel and the stack in the boot, as it was on an earlier model Commodore?
