I bought a car from a thief!?

I bought a car from a girl who used the car in a theft from a store. I bought the car about a week later. she was arrested for the crime and now is claiming that she sold the car and that I had the car so she couldn't have done it. she also lied about the date of sale on pink slip. can she pin this on me and make it stick? I had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! And was unaware of this until a couple days ago. ( no wonder she sold it so cheap) I do have receipts though on the payments i made to her...
