i bought a car from a private party, its junk?

i bought a car from a private owner, the bill of sale states as is, however the party failed to inform me the car had sever issues with it, transmission is bad, car leaks when rains, soaks floor board, trunk fills with water, sunroof dont open, and much more, what can i do about this as far as suing the party
