...registration? I had put a down payment of $500.00 towards a vehicle. I was given three day tags and told to come back after expiration to retrieve my 30 day tag. When I came back, the dealership was closed down. I made contact with the MVD in my state and was assigned to an investigator. The investigator told me that there was a lien from an Auction on my car. I have had this car for 3 years and recently filed for a bonded title. How can I go about getting the title in my name since the dealer broke the contact-through abandonment. I don't feel that I have a contract with the auction, only the dealer as a contract with them. Therefore, I owe the auction nothing. Is ths correct?
