i bought a antique box that is carved with European scene held at angle scene

changes and numbers,names appear the box is 14"x9"x6" the carving is on all sides and lid.when heal at a angle the carving totally changes and i can defenitly seen nunbers and names. the bottom off the box is smooth as
i placed a sheet of paper on the inside of the bottom, using a pencil by rubbing the lead on the paper i could see another scene appearing,names and numbers begin to show
what is it and is it rare, a hidden map
