happen to others?
Protestants came too
No i was not afraid
Celes people usually became protestants as jailhouse converts. Catholics usually were already Catholic.
Celes thank you for caring enough to answer my question
Dr Theo in fairness i think most of the protestants were really Christian and it is easier to join their churches just by going to an altar call

you know, time in jail is supposed to be making you regret your criminal past, not becoming proud of it by identifying yourself with the past of a violent religion.

I'm sure it does. No necessarily them becoming catholic, but i'm sure there are many religions people turn to. That's good that you have been able to realize what you believe in, some people never have the time to sit and think about what they believe is true.

In all probability the answer must be yes, although never imprisoned people such as Scott Hahn and his wife,David Currie,Marcus Grodi,Patrick Madrid and many more have made the journey home to the church and I bet your story is every bit as interesting as their own.
God bless& welcome home.

Are you sure it's only because you were studying the history of Christianity or was it because the kind people who came to visit you on a regular basis were Catholics?

Sure it does, many people pass jail time reading the bible and 'asking forgiveness' and all that mumbo jumbo. What made you think you were the only one?
