i backed my car into a drive thru machine?

i was at mcdonalds drive thru and i pulled up too far and missed the machine you talk into...so i decied to back up and whe i did i had my foot on the gas and i saw the machine so i panic and pressed on the gas thinking that it was my brake and i ran into the machine....i belive that i saw the machine tilt over and as soon as i hit it i got scared so first reactions was to drive away...i did that and now i regret it and thought that i should have stayed..

wat is going to happen to me now??
i know it was wrong but my friend said to not to worry about it because mcdonalds has insurance and they will get it fixed...
so please help me by answering the question and let me have a peices of mind and calm me down
