I ate salsa from a jar that had green mold on the lid- will I be okay?!?

I decided to have some chips and salsa (both tostitos brand) I sat down and ate some before noticing that the salsa tasted a bit spicier than usual, sort of vinegary or acidic. I went back to check on the expiration date and could only see a few number that were mostly obscured by the label. I then looked under the lid, thinking that perhaps the date might be there, and low and behold there was green mold growing on the lid! I hadn't noticed any on the salsa itself, but I know that mold produces spores in the air which is why one shouldn't even breathe mold, therefore the spores most likely touched the salsa. I didn't eat a whole lot, probably around ten chips or less, with salsa on them. The salsa came out of a glass jar, but the mold was on a metal lid. The mold was light green in color. I want to know if I will be okay? I know that penicillin is made of mold, but then again, aren't there different types of mold? What if this is a bad type? Also, I know that one shouldn't eat food from a moldy can because it poses a risk for botulism, and certainly the jar was made of glass as states, but the mold was actually growing on a metal surface. I don't want to get botulism! Furthermore, I have kidney failure. Will this be an attributing factor to any sort of illness I come across or make any possible illness worse? Please reply! Thanks a ton :)
