Car ac blows cold then quits blowing - newly replaced compressor?
I just had the compressor replaced in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee classic and it didn't fix what the mechanic said the problem was. It blows consistently for a while (45 minutes - hour) and stays cold, then will suddenly blow hot air. He says it's not the blower motor since it still blows and suggests it could be the control button not making good connection? That doesn't make sense to me if the control button isn't being disturbed when it stops blowing? Thoughts please.....
More Info.....
talked to the mechanic in more details and he said it's possible that it's the computer that controls the AC could be malfunctioning. Make more sense -but I don't want to be "parted" to death before I find out what it is!
