ok so i applied for financial aid in december and according to the EFC i qualify and the estimate award letter the school gave me says i will receive $ fall 2011 and spring 2012 but I'm confused because fall 2011 semester is already over and i applied after it ended. So did i lose that money or will i get 2 checks this semester? Please help 
P.S I have never applied for financial aid so I don't know what to expect or if i should expect anything at all.
