...Lawton.? I hear there is a bit of a crime problem and I wish to keep my family safe. If there is anyone currently stationed at Ft Sill maybe you can tell me where it is common for officers to live. I would try for on post housing but there is a year long waiting list.
 
I live in Ok.city. never lived in lawton but been there . My best friend is the county sheriff of the next county so I can say Lawton has grown quite a bit and just like every where else there is a certain amount of crime. Overall it is a good place to live. Beats some larger cities in the usa.Schools are good but there some small surrounding communities that are great places to live and the drive isn't bad. Wish I could offer more but can't.
