I am trying to find a way to video chat between a PS3 and a standard computer?

Im off at college and my boyfriend and I are trying to find a way to keep in touch. He does not own a computer BUT does own a PS3. I have a standard laptop computer with video capabilities, but we are unable to figure out how to connect. ANY help would be appreciated. THANKS!
