title. Please help!? The plot involves a girl and her siblings and against their wishes their dad buys a house almost in ruins, isolated and creepy. They move in and paranormal stuff starts to happen. They hear singing in the garden, footsteps, noises etc... The girl notices that anyone who harms the house (such as local boys throwing bricks) gets hurt by the house. She slowly realizes that the house itself is possessed and alive and she creepily decides to stay in the house, restore it and take care of it so it won't harm her or her family and will protect them from outsiders. I read this from the library and I wish I could find it again for my kids. Thanks for any suggestions or help!
