i am trying to download some files from bittorrent but it is not downloading at all.?

I have also tried re-installing the application with older versions.But it says,
Downloading 0.0% 0B of 171MB-0.0KB/s-remaining.
i have waited for one full day to download this 171 MB file but it was of no use.
PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF THIS ISSUE!
