I am trying to determine the correct size tube for my bicycle tire. It is a

Raleigh hybrid bike from '96 or so? I removed the tube and it has 2 markings on it. It says both 27x1.75 and 23x1.75. The tire on the rim measures a little more than 26 inches. Also, do you recommend the self sealing tube?
