I want to go to Columbia in New York to play volleyball, but they dont offer athletic scolerships. My parents make just over 180k a year so I don't qualify for most financial aid. I know the coaching staff is very interested in me as a volleyball player but I only have $40,000 saved for college and that is just a year at Columbia. I couldn't get a job in college due to the work load. Most scolerships are need based so I dont qualify. Are there any loopholes I'm missing? Could student loans cover that much without swimming in debt for years? Help!
