...from exercising? i have been physically active since i was 12 years old, doing work outs nearly every night at the gym until i was 16 years old (in women settings) then i went a lot in summers, but not doing the school year much. now i want to get back into it, i love exercise, but dread the weight room. because everyone there is male, and i get shy and embarrassed to work out in front of them. especially since i have no work out friends, i don't want to step in alone. if the gym was female i would go right away without question. what can i do to get over this? i paid for a membership and i can't seem to go.
