I am taking Vitamin B12 shots; one every week for four weeks and now once a month.?

I have a blood disease that lowers my red blood cell count so I am always anemic. I am also depressed and utterly fatigued. Some days I can't get out of bed. All I want to do is get up in the morning, do things with my husband, cook dinner. Will these shots help me?
