Okay So I posted a thread this weekend about my 2002 Pontiac Grand-Am. My husband had the radio going while the car was turned off. He went to go and turn it back on and it wouldn't start. We took the battery to the part store and had it checked. It turns out that it was completely dead. So we bought a new on along with a new terminal cables because they were badly corroded. We then tried to start that car and nothing happened. Just the lights and the radio came on. So we took of the starter and had that replaced. Again we then tried to start it up and nothing happened. We decided to take off the alternator and have it checked. Come to find out that we had a burnt dial in it. So there again more money for a part. We put it in checked all the fuses as well as making sure the terminal cables were tight.
I have people that has posted on my last thread about it. I have checked the fuses on in the box under the hood. I also went to try to start it up again and the key will turn all the way over but it just wont crank up. When starting it up all light on the dash board does go off. I also can put the automatic shifter in P,D, R, N. The car just wont start up.
Can someone please help me out? I don't know what else to check on it. This car is starting to get kind of costly. I still owe payments on it and it is not under warranty. What else am I suppose to do?
