...month for bmw? I have been doing a lot of research and I am getting mixed answers on how being a motorcycle mechanic really is? I was told bmw techs make the most money by my friend who just graduated from mmi so that's what i signed up for. He only makes 15 an hour working for Harley Davidson.

Can anyone tell me how much money a bmw certified tech will make starting out and future salary?

I hope im not making a mistake and getting myself in big debt to get out of school and make 10 - 15 an hour cause that's what your high school drop out can make working in a factory or construction!

can someone please give me advice or an outlook on becoming a Bmw technician?

Try the BMW owners forums or other places like that.

As this is motorcycle RACING, the crews earn a good wage, but not great.

Its only when you are a Crew Chief, ala Jerry Burgess / Stuart Shenton / Pete Benson etc that you start to earn big bucks.

Grape fine rumours are Jerry Burgess's 08 contract was €2.5 mill. This was with a rider ( Rossi ) who had not won a title in 2 years.

I guess with 30 years in the business and more world title's with so many riders, when you are that good, you can earn that kind of money.
