Every year, I hear about the NHL All-Star game being so awful, a joke, etc.
Well, I'm going to do something that most people never do- defend this game.
First off, people say there's no defense or hitting. Um, I believe in hockey, you have to put the puck in the net at least ONCE.
Second, hockey is known for speed and skill. We lived through the dead-puck era of traps and low-scoring- these people need to realize that hockey is supposed to be fast, fun, and wide-open.
Third, I like goals. Isn't hockey supposed to be about goal-scoring.
