Depending on the weather where you live, you'd probably get more use out of another room. It will be sheltered from sun, rain and cold, and you can have regular furniture out there. It will also add value to your house. I'd go with the extra room.
 
Personally, I would choose a nice large deck to soak up the sun on. Put some nice outdoor furniture out there and it will be like having a nice lounge but outside! A lounge inside would be nice, but one outside you can have BBQ's and parties. Also, it would be a great place to relax and listen to nature. If you have kids, they would enjoy it too! Remember, you can always sit inside comfortably on your couch. Why not have to option to sit outside comfortably as well.
 
hi thats a great sized space personally I would go for the lounge which can be used 365 days a year but bring the outside in add lots of plants etc call it your garden room really effective you could still sit there and enjoy the outdoors especially if you have really big windows which you could dress simply with no blinds to block out all the light hope this helps sue
