I am removing the intake manifold on my '70 Ford F250 360 engine. Need some advice....?

The front pushrods pass through the intake manifold. Do I need to disconnect the front pushrods to remove the intake manifold? I am new to Ford engines and only semi-experienced with others...Please advise...
