I Am Ready For My First S60 Phone...but

I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO GET. HAHA. Well form factor doesnt matter. I loved my 6131, loved the keypad on the phone. I need is a phone with a excellent batterey, mp3 and speakers for music and talking. would be nice if it had a fm radio and a good camera. Ive been looking at the e65, n73 and the e50.

please help me decide hofo.

What's your budget like? If $400 is your range and your not in need of wi-fi then the N73 is an absolute no brainer. Great screen and incredible picture quality. If your able to stretch say..another...$400 more you can score yourself a real nice cherry in the soon to be released N95.

N73 is mono I believe but still very loud. The keypad was way too cramped for my liking but I dont think the N95 is going to be that much of an improvement. If your fingers arent pudgy and sausagy (is that a word) then it shouldnt be much of a problem adjusting to the N73s keypad although it will always feel cramped compared to the 6131. Wobbly Joystick and a cramped keypad will quickly be overlooked by a stellar 2.4 inch screen that is as bright as any screen i've ever seen and a sick sick camera, all in a tiny little package. Great phone that will stand the test of time for a few years at least.

E65 as the n73's small keypad and joystick can be really annoying to use. Camera for the e65 is only good for just novelty shots but the speaker is surprisingly sharp and rich for a mono, thougH not as loud as the n73. Also, the screen is much better. btw n73 has stereo speakers. they really need to make a qwerty nseries: this took forever on my phone!

qwerty N series phone would be nice. Thinking of going towards the N73 mainly because of the camera and screen and speakers. but the E65 looks nice too. Man if only i could buy thgem all like many of us on hofo wish

my girlfriends sister has a E62, she let me borrow it, and i loved it, but i would wont a camera and fm radio, i know the e61i is coming out, man maybe i should get that one! lol

N73 definitely has stereo speakers. It can do 3D sounds, but that stuff is useless in my opinion.

You have to attach the headphones for the FM radio to work (the headphones work as an antenna). You can still listen to FM with the speakers instead of the headphones.

I think the joystick is great, especially for one-handed operation. The keypad is kinda cramp though. I have a hard time hitting the 9 button.

Download speed is about 50k. Only get dropped calls if I talk to my Sprint or Verizon friends (its probably their network's fault)

I used to switch back and forth before all the 2 year contracts happened. Phones were better back then too. You could get something worth $300 for free with a 1 year contract.
