Everything use to work great but then my amp wouldn't turn on one day so I tested all of the wires and re did all of the connections but it still didn't turn on. When I tested the volts of my red power wire before turning the car on, it was fine and was around 12.2 volts, but once I turned the car on it went down to 4.3 and stayed at that. My friend had a bigger power wire that we tested in the place of my original one and my amp worked fine again. So im confused as to how my power wire use to work fine for my system and then all of the sudden not work with it anymore when i didn't change anything. Could it be my fuse isn't big enough or my battery terminal got dirty? I have no idea! Any suggestions as to what went wrong?
I am positive My power wire is the problem on my car stereo, why?
