...else will be required? The computer is intended to be compact and will sit in a corner hooked up to an HDTV and a telephone set. I am planning to start with an inexpensive bare bones kit, like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856119018.
I figure, it will require the following additional stuff at a minimum:
Hardware:
Hard Disk Drive (1 TB WD Caviar Blue)
RAM (2 GB)
Ethernet adapter
Wireless adapter
Software:
Operating system (Windows 7)
Anti-virus (AVG)
Firewall (Zonealarm)
Questions: Will I need anything else to make it work as I plan? Please let me know.
Will I need a sound card and a graphic card as well?
Will the onboard versions of these be sufficient, if they are present??
