I am on a F1 (Student) Visa from Germany in Florida for another 4 years. My parents want to buy me a car. I have a german lisence, but I heard in order to buy a used car in the States you need to have a state lisence. So I will get my Floridian lisence in one week.
My question would be: in order to buy a car from a dealership what do I have to show them? I researched a bit and I read that you can buy a car from a dealership without a social security number. I also read that I can not sign a lease, which is fine. My dad will pay cash.
