...works. What is wrong? Just two days ago, my earpiece sound has become extremely quiet and for me to be able to hear the other person I have to use the speakerphone. When I press any of the keys on the keypad (ie to dial numbers) there is also no sound. The phone still rings and works fine otherwise.
In addition, the "Location Indicator On" icon/symbol has appeared in the upper right corner of my display, right next to the "Ring Style Indicator". This icon appeared the day the issue with the sound started occurring.
I did turn it off and take the battery out for 15 minutes and turned it back on. This cleared the problem for a day, but it returned soon after.
I have not changed any settings for the phone or anything else about it. There has been no water damage and it has not been kept or used in any extreme conditions. The phone is also out of warranty.
