In one of the short stories in this book, there is a member of the Washington State Department of Fish and Game who is called out to a local shelter office to collect a leopard found in their office. Twist? This is no normal wild animal. He turns out to be a Were Leopard from either Scotland or Ireland. Someone in Washington state is turning people or animals into other exotic creatures and is selling them overseas.
When the woman (ranger) and the wereleopard team up to stop the bad guys, romance ensues... after some convincing on his part!!
It was a good story, but unfortunately, I can't remember either the name of the book, or the authors who contributed.
