I am looking for performance upgrades for 2008 pontiac g6 gt?

I got the 3.5 219 hp G6 GT I am not saying I want a super fast car I just want it faster not for the street for track My budget will probably be right now around 800 to 1000 dollars. I know right now a turbo is not smart I would blow the engine I am looking for headers and things like that also can I buy a tune machine or something to tune my car to run quicker? thanks
