I am looking for a specific book, but I don't know the title or author.?

I remember reading an excerpt, but can't recall much of it. Some of the words I recall are:
Ming Lee Restaurant, Dragons(shifters?), The guy (dragon) stands up in the dark ally behind Ming Lee's restaurant just as her granddaughter goes out the back door, he says you summoned me.

I have tried looking up on several different websites to no avail. including booksamillion, barnes&noble, google book search, yahoo, etc...
Any help would be great
