...Regency Era in England help me? It is about a girl who is sent away from her home to live with her godfather, but he is supposedly sick and all his home is too. So he sends her to his son. He is doing a match-making type thing. But it just so happens that his son is single and his mother wants him to marry someone. The lady might be a duchess, I'm not sure. She does have a lot of money and he is poor. She is also looking for her friend who disappeared while meeting a secret admirer. She arrives at the knight-guys house with two body guards. She ends up marrying the knight-guy and is almost assassinated at her wedding. Once she is married she starts getting secret admirer letters and presents too, so does her sister-in-law. She lives in the townhouse of the knight after her godfather sends her away. The girl might also like making lists a lot. And her husband(he becomes later in the boo) might have a bad knee. She gets "called" on many times and each time the suitors are sent away. She also argues with her missing friend's brother, and the knight guy throws him out on the street. I really can't remember the title or the author. Any help would be welcome. It is a romance novel, and is not new. I want to read it again, and maybe buy it.
