don't know title/author. All that I know is that the female main Characters name is Drewana or Drewanna and that its in the Medieval times and some of the plot. Her mother dies and her father takes her and her brother and runs because if he doen't he will lose the kids so he dresses and raises her as a boy. She becomes a knight (her brother was only about two when their mother died so he dosn't know that she is a girl). during a battle she defeats an enemy and takes him hostage her and her brother become friends with him. He ends up having feelings for her and gets confused because he is married and thinks that she is a man. Then another part in the book is that his wife dies so he thinks that he's gay and then she gets taken hostage by his side and tries to kill her self thats when he finds out that she is a girl because he runs to her to see where she has stabed her self and feels that she is a girl.her brothers wife says that drewana is the father of one of their kids he tries to kill her he sees she's girl
