...can anyone help? i am looking for a cheapish modified lancer or honda civic with lay kays and rego. its going to be my first car so i dont want it heaaaaaaps good but dont want a piece of shit. i am looking at anything between 2-3 grand someone help!
 
You should be able to find several of these built between 94 and 2001 on Craigslist in your price range,,,
Remember that;

1) modified cars tend to have more problems...

2) the reason a person is selling a modified car is, something is wrong with it, because previous owner ran the hell out of it.

of those two choices look for the Civic, Mitsubishis tend to spend a lot of time in the shop....
