i am looking at a 2000 - 2002 jeep with a 4.7 v8?

are these engines any good, I need to tow and I have v6 jeep now, I hate how much the engine works to tow my trailer and gear. is the v8 4.7 any good or better yet is it any worse that the v6. Gas mileage is not a big concern.
