I want to start doing photography and I have some questions about what camera to get. Ok, so I want a very high quality digital camera. Lately I have been using my dad's 7.2 MP camera. I like how they look but when I zoom in to enhance eyes, edit skin, bla bla bla. It looks all pixlely and it is hard to get it to look good. I want pictures that look like this:

Super detailed, a lot of MP. In that video how many MP is that? Where can I buy a really good camera that is not too expensive? HELP?

Video only uses a portion of the total pixels on a sensors on a P&S camera. Here is a link that will tell you all about pixel counts. But first:

Now all about pixel counts.

You can get great detail enough to blow pic up to 8x10 in a 5.o mp camera. those shots you provided are pro stuff and the equipment and talent is beyond a beginners reach. Start with a moderately price camera, I have preference to Kodak & nikons but i don't thing it will matter much if you are just starting. you will out grow the camera soon enough if you work hard at it. When you master the "light" cameras then spend the $$ for some better stuff. have fun

A 35mm camera will produce a frame that will scan to about 25MP.

You should look into a Nikon N90 or Canon Elan 7e if you are interested in image quality and serious megapixels.
